Don’t Just be Savvy. Be Young Money Savvy.

Our Mission

To empower young adults to master money, so they can thrive on their strengths and maximize their financial future.
We want to tackle the trend of young adults moving out later, starting a family later, drowning in debt, and not knowing where to turn for their finances.

Our Values

Independence — We support others to become independent by unlocking confidence in their money habits and their skills.

Education — Unapplied knowledge is more expensive than ignorance. We uphold financial education that is not provided in the school system.

Happiness — We strive to reduce financial stress, which is one of the major cause of diseases and mental health issues.

Meaningful Work — We pick quality over quantity and speed. We don’t settle for short-term fixes, we aim for life-changing outcomes.

Wealth — We don’t wish people to become rich; we aspire for them to build wealth instead.

Young Money Savvy was born

Young Money Savvy (YMS) was born when Jeremy Logeot started to educate his peers about money. It was not until 2017, YMS decided to put together a conference.

In the summer of 2017, Jeremy went through an incubator with FLDWRK and decided to pivot the business model.  It's through that process Jeremy built Money Peace Purpose [MP2]. You can watch Jeremy's pitch that concluded the incubator here.

While working alongside a financial planner, Jeremy met Matthew McGaw, a college professor, who shared the same passion for getting finances right. It’s then and there they joined forces and built YMS’s Financial Coaching Program.

Matthew McGaw

Matthew McGaw was born and raised in Southern California, and is the biggest fan of In-N-Out you’ll ever meet.

It’s also no secret that his love of fast food and fun times led to some self-inflicted financial instability in his late teens… and early twenties… and into his mid-twenties.

But when he finally stopped the bleeding, he saw just how much was slipping through his fingers and out of his accounts. “That’s when I discovered the power and thrill of saving, and I knew I’d be hooked. And I still am!”

As a Financial Coach, he aims to free our clients from their own financial traps and help them chart their course to financial success. He especially loves hearing how much better clients feel about their finances and their belief in themselves.

“I’m thrilled to be working alongside Young Money Savvy and helping our clients achieve the financial independence they’ve always dreamed about!”

Jeremy Logeot

Jeremy Logeot was born and raised in Belgium, Europe. His love for music started at age 3 when he started playing the piano.

He moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000’s where he expanded his musical performing skills into teaching. It’s during the COVID years he slowly shifted from being a full-time music teacher to a full-time financial planner assistant.

With the decade of financial planning industry experience and his passion for teaching, he and Matthew built Young Money Savvy’s Financial Coaching Program in 2023 and fully launched it in 2024.

When Jeremy doesn’t spend his time eating chocolate or staring at a spreadsheet, he likes to play video games like Football Manager or F1 Manager, and host board game nights.
